  • ultrasound ndt monchannelUltraScope C is a specialized equipment for testing concrete.

    It is based on the Pulse–Echo and Through Transmission methods to detect cavities, cracks and other defects.

    UltraScope C generates high energy pulses (> 4kW) in the low frequency range and measures time of flight, echo amplitude and echo duration.

         o       Integral waveform display (A-scan, B-scan, C-scan)

         o       USB interface allows full remote control of all features.

         o       Direct data logging on the PC.

         o       Direct measurement: Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity, Poisson's Ratio, Modulus of Elasticity

         o       Wide range of transducers from 24 kHz up to 1000 kHz

    The UltraScope USB system has 1 UT channel with 2 connectors, to use the system in pulse-echo mode, emitting and receiving for the same connector (connector 1) or in the transmission mode using one connector for emission (connector 1) and using the other one for reception (connector 2).

  • Emitter:

    -       Programmable pulse amplitude form -20 V to -400 V

    -       Programmable pulse width from 40 ns to 25.6 μs, with resolution of 6.25 ns

    -       Burst mode up to 64 pulses

    -       Encoder trigger or external input signal trigger

    Receiver:

    -       Bandwidth from 20 KHz to 2.5 MHz (- 3 dB)

    -       Programmable sampling frequency from 1.25 KHz to 20 MHz

    -       10 bits A/D conversor

    -       Programmable Gain  up to 80 dB

    -       TGC curve

    -       Attenuator -20 dB

    -       Automatic start of the acquisition with programmable threshold (echo-start)

    Signal processing:

    -       EMI Filter.

    o     Removes, in real-time, the impulsive noise

    o     Improves flaw detection and reduces the production of false alarms

    o     Keeps a high dynamic range in noisy environments for C and D-scans

    -       Band-Pass filter with programmable cut-off frequencies.

    -       Scan compression with Non-Peak-Loss compression algorithm, up to 128:1 compression rate.

    -       Average (2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256)

    -       Programmable hardware and software gates to detect of the maximum or  minimum.

    -       Acquisition information data in real-time: A-scan, B-scan, peak position and amplitude (gates), encoders count.
